Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United States of America HE. E. Bojan Vujic, after delivering his letter of credentials to President Donald Trump on September 16, 2019, officially assumed the position of ambassador. Following the convenient reception, the formal handing over of the credentials took place at the Oval Office of the White House of the President of the United States. In the brief conversation that followed during the handing over of credentials in honor of the newly appointed ambassadors, a formal lunch was held at Blair House.

We inform citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in the states of Connecticut, New York, Massachusets, New Hampshire, etc., as well as the states of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, etc. that the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Washington DC, for technical reasons, is unable to organize the planned consular days in the coming period.
Therefore, we ask all citizens who have expressed an interest in applying for a passport during consular days to report to the Embassy from Monday to Friday, from 13.00 to 15.00, via the number: 202-337-1500. ext. 228, to arrange a date of arrival.

We would like to inform that the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sent a call to experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of emigration , which envisages the transfer of knowledge from the emigration in BiH through short-term engagement (up to three weeks) of a total of fifty experts and academics from all fields in emigration in from 2018 to 2020.
