Kim Sharma, the doe-eyed beauty with the Dutch Ascent made a sensational debut in “Mohabbatein” opposite Jugal Hansraj. A model for some time she was seen in major commercials “Close -Up, Pepsi, Liril Talc, Sunsilk, Bakeman’s Cookies, Cadbury’s, Milkmaid, Limca, Promos for Fair and Lovely, Clean and Clear, Ponds Moisturizing Body Lotion, music videos for Lata Mangeshkar and Haider Ali” …She will be seen in a remake of the popular American serial ‘Friends’ titled Hum in “Jennifer Aniston’s” role.
Kim was born in Ahmednagar and did her schooling from a boarding school in Panchgani. After that she returned to her hometown and joined a junior college, but hated her college. ‘Having studied in a boarding school, where most of the girls were from aboard, living and studying in Ahmednagar came as a culture shock’, quips Kim. So while in her twelth std., she decided to call it quits.
None of her movies met with success similar to Mohabattein. She did an item number in the Tamil movie Alai(2003). She worked with Dino Morea and Jimmy Shergill in Deepak Tijori’s Tom, Dick and Harry (2006).
She had a special appearance in the hit comedy Heyy Babyy (2007). Her 2008 release Money Hai Tho Honey Hai didn’t do well at the box office.
