Siddharthi’s career began at age 16, when he was discovered by a modeling agent in India while sitting in a caf’. From the School Days Siddharth was Interesting in Acting. He left studies due to modelling. At the age of 19, he entered in Mr.Gujarat pageant in 2007 along with 19 competitor and won that. In the same year he applied for Gladrags Mega-model & Manhunt and got selected for the final pageant. He performed well through the pageant series and by the voting of the audience, he got the sub-title of Mr.Internet Popularity, Judges selected him for the title of Mr.Photogenic in the pageant. In the final event he become Gladrags Mega-model & Manhunt 2nd runner up 2007. He had Also appeared in ad campaigns for Roberto Cavalli. He has appeared on the cover of RedBook, men’s health and Gladrags. Siddharth Malhotra had also acted as a child artist in Indian TV serial Prithviraj Chauhan with Rajat Tokas. Siddharth is a model, VJ and assistant director in NDTV Good Times.

Student of the Year is an upcoming Indian comedy film directed by Karan Johar,the film is produced by Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan under the banner of Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment,film is to be released on 19 October 2012. Student of the Year is a young Love story, siddharth is playing the character of Abhimanyu a student and the story revolves around the three characters one is Siddharth Malhotra, and other is Varun Dhavan & Aliaa Bhatt. Aliaa & Varun both are making there debut with this film in bollywood.
