Varun Sharma is a new face in bollywood, who has made his debut with the film “Fukrey” starring as Choocha Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. He has appeared in ads for Virgin Mobile, Airtel, Ebay, Nissan Micra, Margo Soap and so on. After attending some auditions, he finally got selected for movie Fukrey. Recently, he was seen in Dolly Ki Doli movie opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Varun Sharma was born on 4 February in Jalandhar, India. He has completed his schooling at The Lawrence School, Sanawar. He has studied class 11 and class 12 at APJ School, Jalandhar. Later received Bachelor s degree in Media, Entertainment and Film Technology from Chandigarh. He has done theater, street plays and even professional plays at the national level. He felt that plays are raw while camera gives things a polish. He used to say that, “I did not find it difficult to crack it when switching to movies.” He likes films that are intelligent and realistic comedies and also the Yash Raj Films kind of entertainers.
